Happenin's in the White House

We will start by catching you up on some important issues around the White house.

1. Hayden's B-day is in a week and i have no idea what to get him or tell people what to get him. God knows the kid does not need any more toys.

2. Bailey (dog) is so needy. There has yet to be a day with in the last 3 weeks that i can remember her leaving us alone for a little while. She has this wonderful habit of sitting between me and the TV staring at me.

3. The wife has been working on her appellate brief for school. That is one of the most time consuming things that i have ever witnessed. I have more respect for her and Kristin for being able to deal with law school. they do a much better job than i ever would.

Finally
4. There is a "clothes thief" that lives with me. This "thief" seems to know how to pull a great heist. They started this a while back before i lived with them, but i thought it was just something to remember me when i left their house. Now i have realized that this is not the case. This person just likes to "borrow" MY clothes. I think this person has a very careful practice of picking these clothes. I can see the "thief" go into the closet and feel all of MY hoodies, and then when the softest one is found it is snatched and worn. The hoodie that is taken is of course my favorite, it also seems to be the case with the other articles of clothes (fleece sweatpants). This is why my theory of how the decision is made (they are all soft). So i am ok with this as long as i know that the thief is living with me. I know that the thief will live with me for a long time to come. So it's not a big deal.

Here is a sketch of the proposed thief.

So i think that is all the happenings in the White house. I'll try to get better about keeping everybody updated on life. So far so good though.

To keep the up with the previous blogs here is something to think about.

Why do they report power outages on TV??

Our Busy Weekend

So it is Thursday October 16, and i don't think i have done this in about a month. I just haven't really had anything to say. I'm sitting here with my honeypot watching some Grey's Anatomy, then we are going to watch Life on Mars(great show so far).

So on to other things. This weekend is going to be pretty interesting, so to start tomorrow is going to be a short day at work (8 hours, sad i know). The plan is to leave work around 2 in the afternoon and try and get home in time to surprise Hayden and pick him up from school with the wife. Then we have to be back at his school around 5 for the carnival. If the carnival is anything like last year it will be really fun to see Hayden and how the excitement flows. We will only get to stay for around 2 hours then on to the house. I have to meet Trevor and some of his friends(don't really know any of them) for his bachelor party. I have to meet them at the hotel they are staying at for the night. We have plans to possibly go eat and then go to the 10:00 show at four day weekend. No idea what the plans are after that, it may not be to much for me since i will be up around 5:30 that morning.

Ok, on to Saturday. I will get to get up around 7 or 7:30 and go for a nice invigorating run!!! woo hoo!?!?!? Then sometime after that i have to go get fitted for my tuxedo for Crystal and Trevor's wedding. that is one thing that i have never liked to do, i prefer the good ol' khaki shorts and t-shirt. I am unfortunately not allowed to wear that to the wedding. Then the fun really starts. We get to go to a party that one of the wife's law school friends is throwing for his wife. that should be really fun, this friend and his wife are really cool people and are great to talk to and just hang out with. We will only get to spend an hour or so there then it is off to Dallas for the wedding shower for Crystal and Trevor. I have a feeling that there aren't going to be a lot of people there that we both know. That should make it great fun(right). I guess i should look at it as a chance to meet everyone in the wedding party before the big day, at least that way it will make the wedding and the reception not quite as awkward. Alright on to later in the evening. After the wedding shower we are going to go to the brother-in-law's house and stay for the night. That way we don't have to drive all the way back to Fort Worth that evening. Then it is a day of rest when we get home on Sunday. Thank you for REST!!!

Well i guess that is the story of our weekend. Looking back it really isn't all that exciting. That's ok though, it is stuff that will keep me busy and not just being lazy all weekend like i have been the past few.

Skinny cow ice cream sandwiches are freaking amazing(cookies and cream are the best)!!!!

I hope this turns out better than it seems.

So i will leave you with something to think about...

How does the guy that drives the snow plow get to work in the morning??

Could it be Better?

Well we have another weekend done. It was a pretty good one. It all started with my wonderful wife taking Saturday and not working on any school work!!! Then we got to watch Auburn and Tennessee play some college football! It was a pretty good game, not so sure what is going on with auburn and their new spread offense. Being an Alabama fan I may catch a lot of crap for this next comment, but i hope they get it together(for my beautiful wife). Well lets get on to the rest of the weekend, after the auburn game Katelin and I went and put in almost 3 miles in the hot afternoon. When we got back Crystal and Trevor were here ready to watch some football with us. The Alabama football game started at 6:45 and it was go from the time it started. Alabama score on its first 5 drives, we went into half time with a 31-0 lead.

Ok on to better things. Saturday was 2 months of being married to my beautiful wife. It has been two of the best months ever. I love the fact that i can say that I'm coming home to my wife. I really just love the fact that that i get to call her my wife!!! she is the best ever. I couldn't have asked for a better person. She is my best friend and the one that i will be with for hte rest of my life!!!

Woohoo!!!! THE WHITESOXS ARE IN THE PLAYOFFS!!!!!!

Well i'm gonna end it right there. Just ran out of stuff to say.

SO MANY PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES - NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS

First Time

So this is definitely my first go at this whole blog deal. I have spent many an hour on blogs from technology to business to sports, and have finally decided i am going to give it a try. I'm guessing that it may take a little while to get the hang of just getting here and writing about anything and everything. Maybe it won't really be that bad. I'm sure that i will have some thing to say just about every saturday after college football.

Since we have brought up college football, how about USC. Couldn't have asked for a better outcome to last night's game with them and Oregon state. I started watching as Oregon State went up 14-0 over USC. When the second have started and USC started what i though was going to be their comeback i definitely turned it off and just took it as another freakin USC win. i was pleasently surprised this morning when i woke up and they had lost by 6. I LOVED IT!!!

Saturday will make for a very interesting game day. we have a good bit of SEC games going on which always makes for a good weekend. i love to watch the SEC beat the crap out of each other week in and week out. I am sure that my next comment will start some crap for people that just don't get it, but there is no conference in this country that is as good as the SEC.

I'm going to start a trend here and try and carry it over on every blog that i write. So here is your one liner!!

I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.
